Exam Time Part 1

Like the picture says I should be studying for my exams, but with study comes procrastination. During my great procrastination moment I thought "I'm putting all this time and effort in to a two hour or three hour exam, why?"

There is so much pressure to do well in exams when in the real work environment they don't tell you to sit down for three hours and write three essays in order to keep your job, or do they? did I skip that class where they told us this actually happens?

So much of my life right now is dedicated to study and I hope like hell it will all be worth it at the end of the day, otherwise I'll just end up working at Burger King for the rest of my damn life on minimum wage...NOT COOL!!

So to everyone out there going through exams or who will eventually do exams GOOD LUCK and remember if you study hard then it will be worth it in the end, and when you reach that end you will forever have your student loan to remind you of those long nights studying and pointless lectures you once attended.

Expanding the wardrobe

Dress from Glassons and skirt from Valley Girl

Ever since I have started working all I seem to be doing is filling up my wardrobe (which is full already!), but I am at least only looking in the sale section. Like these two new additions, the dress I have wanted for a long time from Glassons, I walked into the store and decided I would buy it no matter the cost. Turned out it was the perfect time to go in cause it was on sale and was only $25. I can't wait to wear it out, and I am thinking of wearing it with my green belt to give it a bit of colour.

The skirt was also in the sale section in Valley Girl and it was only $16, so I was pretty happy with that bargain buy! Although I went into the store looking for a new top to go with my new black high waisted skinny jeans, I was still happy with the find.

I have also noticed when I was trying clothes on that I have lost weight! I am now a comfortable size 12 and sometimes even a size 10! You wana know my secret? 

Walking up all these damn hills in Auckland! 

Also I will be going back down to the South Island for my friend's 21st and the Methven Rodeo! I can not wait, just have to tell work I can't work that weekend. I also only have 3 weeks left of uni and then its exams! EEKK!! But that also means SUMMER TIME!

What a week!! My week has been filled with study, study and more study, and next year it will only get worse, I somethimes wonder why but then I remember what I want to achieve in life. I can't wait till exams are all over. But everyone needs a break when it comes to study so I treated myself to some Burgerfuel (best burgers ever!) and went and bought myself a new statement necklace for only $7 from Portmans (thanks to my flatmate who works then told me they were having a big sale). Also I received two postcards from the UK, one from my mum and the other from my nana and grandad. I wish I was there with them.

I had my first exam on Friday and what a disaster! I thought my exam started at 3pm when I went to looked at my timetable I relaised it started at 2pm! I lloked at the time and it was 2:20pm. Luckily I live 3 minutes away from uni, so I raced down and luckily I just made it before they have the cut of time half an hour after they start. But I had to write two essays in an hour and a half. Luckily the questions fitted perfectly for what I studied, so fingers crossed that I at least pass that exam!
One down two more to go.

After exams I have one month off, and since I still don't have a job I am planning to go back down to Christchurch for a couple of weeks and catch up with friends and family. I can't wait for that trip!
